Comprima winning awards around Europe

Spelle, June 2008 – The new Krone Comprima round baler has swept as many as four prizes and awards within only six months. The most recent award recognizing the concept as a key innovation was presented at the Techagro Show at Brno (Czech Republic). This followed the German DLG Gold Medal and "Machine of year 2008” title awarded at last year’s Agritechnica show in Germany plus the 'Gouden Aar’ Innovation Prize scooped at the Belgian agricultural show Agribex. The rush of awards recognizes in particular the innovative concept of a semi-variable bale chamber within a fixed chamber baler. Operating to the fixed chamber baling principle, Comprima F 155 is able to bale 1.25m to 1.5m diameter bales. Another ground-breaking innovation in baling technology is the new Krone NovoGrip system. NovoGrip stands for a unique combination of fabric belts and slats, where the slats are arranged at right angles to the belts to form the elevator.
