Spelle in November 2008 – In the latest DLG image poll, Krone notched up the highest number of points since the German Agricultural Society started polling farmers and contractors. Scoring 73.6 points (66.1 points in the previous year) and securing rank seven, Krone not only experiences the highest image boost among the top ten agricultural machinery manufacturers but also comes out as the best rated forage specialist. ”These DLG poll results come in confirmation of our strategy to specialize exclusively in forage technology”, comments Bernard Krone, Director of Krone Agricultural Machinery Management Board, saying that the high gains also acknowledge the company’s innovative drive and focus on customers. ”Our perception among farmers and contractors seems to have changed since we started manufacturing self-propelled harvesters and also pioneered innovations like our baler wrapper combination or the four-rotor rake.
